Show Your Support For Mental Health Via Bell Let’s Talk Today
You are here
Today is the annual Bell Let’s Talk Day, where Bell supports mental health initiatives in Canada by donating five cents for: every applicable text, call, tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk; every social media video view; and every use of its Facebook frame or Snapchat filter.
The program, aimed at getting Canadians talking about mental health and engaging them to take action to create positive change, was launched in September 2010.
Last March, Bell announced the extension of the Bell Let’s Talk initiative for a further five years and an increase in its total funding commitment for Canadian mental health to at least $155 million.
The money supports projects that improve access to mental health supports and services for people in Canada. The Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund, Bell Let's Talk Post-Secondary Fund and the Bell Let’s Talk Diversity Fund are part of Bell Let’s Talk, Canada’s largest corporate initiative dedicated to mental health.

While mental health issues are ever-present in society, COVID-19 has added a new wrinkle and affected people in different ways across the country over the past year. Practicing physical distancing makes it even more important that people make an extra effort to remain emotionally connected with friends, family members and loved ones to support good mental health and well-being. Maintaining good mental and physical health will help ensure Canadians get through this together.
