New Zealand rock band Crowded House and British actor Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, The Imitation Game, Star Trek Into The Darkness) have teamed up for the new music video "Help Is Coming."

All proceeds from the new song will go towards helping refugee children through Save The Children's Refugee Crisis Appeal. Additionally, the Help Is Coming website has been created to host the video along with information on how to donate to the cause in the United Kingdom, the United States or internationally.

Save The Children is a worldwide organization aid organization who "give children a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm." Some of the organization's work includes emergency response programs for things like the Syrian refugee crisis, Nepal earthquake relief and ebola crisis in West Africa. They also provide things like education, health and nutrition, and HIV and AIDS support programs. Their slogan in all this: "We don't choose sides. We choose children.

The video for "Help Is Coming" begins with an introduction by Cumberbatch where he excerpts two sections of Kenyan-born Somali poet Warsan Shire's piece called "Home." Says Cumberbatch:

No one leaves home unless
Home is the mouth of a shark
You only run for the border
When you see the whole city running as well

You have to understand,
That no one puts their children in a boat
Unless the water is safer than the land

The actor concludes by adding, "As people watching this tragedy from the safety of our own homes, our safe children, we want to say that we see you, we hear you, and help is coming."

The song "Help Is Coming" is an old recording from Crowded House which was released in 1999 on the band's Afterglow compilation album. For the music video director Mat Whitecross intersperses footage of refugees in difficult circumstances along with interviews of child refugees, all soundtracked by the particularly moving song.

In it lead singer Neil Finn leaves listeners with a firm message at song's end:

Help is coming
We sail tomorrow
For Ellis Island
Help is coming

Dreams come true
We'll sail tomorrow
Dreams come true
Help is coming
